In the first half of 2023, we completely renovated our flat in
Ribeira Brava, Madeira (Moreno district). Modern floor
and wall tiles, a partition wall made of natural stone, light-coloured solid wood furniture - we
designed all of this with a lot of dedication and passion and created it ourselves. Even we
homeowners are a little envious of the new bathroom with rain shower. These beautiful rooms
were created for you and we are delighted that you would like to spend your holiday here.
It will definitely be worth it!
The flat (approx. 45 m²) is located on the ground floor of our house "Casa Vento" and has a
separate, independent entrance. You live in a private, Portuguese-style environment, away from
large hotel complexes.
Your accommodation consists of a bedroom, a living room,
an eat-in kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a terrace
(30 m²).
Free 4G internet access with Wi-Fi hotspot is of course also included.
To load and unload your luggage and shopping, you can drive your car into our driveway almost
right up to the flat door. A permanent, free car park is available on the street.
From there, it's just a few dozen steps downhill to your holiday home. You will immediately feel at
home at Casa Vento - that's a promise!

Your flat is located on the ground floor of our house in the Moreno / Ribeira Brava neighbourhood.
The functionally furnished bedroom (9 m²) has a double bed consisting of two self-made single beds (90x190cm), which can be seperated if required. Two bedside tables, lamps and shelves to store your clothes are also included. The window faces the corridor.
The sofa in the cosy living room next door (8 m²) invites you to linger. You are also welcome to spend the night on the sofa bed. When pulled out, it measures 140x190cm. The desk allows you to write greeting cards or work on your laptop. Here too, the window faces the corridor.
A spacious kitchen with full equipment (dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge with freezer compartment) forms the centre in your flat. If you prefer to be pampered, you are welcome to book your breakfast in our house (more information under "catering"). Ask about this when you make your booking.
The bathroom in your flat is equipped with a walk-in shower (rain shower), toilet, washbasin, vanity unit and mirror cabinet. The high-quality ventilation in the bathroom ensures good air exchange. Towels are of course provided free of charge. You will find a hair dryer in the drawer.
The extendable dining table with comfortable chairs is located in the spacious hallway. Here you will also find the wardrobe. In addition to a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket, you will find first aid material for small emergencies and brochures about Madeira with information about all kinds of activities.
When the weather is beautiful, we recommend eating on your terrace. The view of the sea and the mountains is not just a feast for the eyes. With a bit of luck, you can listen to the cheerful chatter of the birds as they gather in rows on the masts and give a bird concert. Simply marvellous!
