After the eventful day, our guests meet before dinner for the aperitif hour.
Enjoy the evening sun with free refreshments and delicious snacks and exchange
ideas about the secrets of the flower island in Ribeira Brava.
From 7:30 p.m. we will serve you a tasty dinner in Madeira,
which will be served outdoors if the weather is good. We take the evening menu, which changes
daily, with all guests at a large table, so that you can look forward to a culinary surprise!
If you prefer a separate table, we can also fulfill this request. Mild air and sunsets
accompany you to a dessert, which rounds off the evening. If you wish, there is a
traditional Madeira liqueur wine, fresh fruit juice or a cold beer.
Our special raclette and barbecue evenings in our house are very popular! Both events can be booked separately.
I, Sibel, am responsible for your physical well-being in the evening and would like
to be a good host for your meals. I prepare your dinner and dessert with regional
products and lots of love.
Our guests really appreciate being together and indulging in culinary delights. It is one of the most beautiful and pleasant moments of the day - eating together. The evening meal in Casa Vento usually takes place on our terrace, so that not only the palate but also - because of the unique view - the eyes are spoiled. On cooler or rainy days, we make ourselves comfortable in our dining room. You are warmly welcomed and enjoy yourself!
We invite our guests to our aperitif hour every day. It starts about an hour before dinner, usually on our sunny terrace. We serve small snacks such as various nuts, salty and hearty nibbles or fruit. Just like the snacks, the drinks also vary. Sometimes an iced tea with lemon, sometimes a cold beer or sometimes a sparkling wine - all free of charge, of course. In the aperitif hour at Casa Vento, our guests can get into the relaxed evening mood, talk to others about what they have experienced during the day or simply ponder on one of our sunny spots and enjoy the peace and quiet. We also like to invite guests who want to get to know us from near and far Madeira to our aperitif hour. Please come by and have a nice time!
I serve three courses every day, consisting of a starter, main course and dessert. For starters there are, for example, eggplant pizzas, the well-known Bolo do Caco, vegetable skewers or a crunchy salad. Our main courses include my hearty gratinated pancakes or bulgur filled peppers with rice and garlic dip. The grill and raclette evenings are our highlights of the week. When grilling, in addition to well-seasoned meat, there is also marinated cheese, vegetables, lettuce and fried potatoes with roasted onions. Raclette has all sorts of side dishes as well as meat and vegetables, so that there is something for all guests. The sweet dessert includes: Delicacies such as panna cotta, muffins with raspberry quark, waffles with ice cream or mini apple pancakes.
